Hi! My name is Chandni.
Pronounced Chahn-da-knee. But for those of you who have a tough time pronouncing 3 consonants in a row that are not separated by a vowel (and I don’t blame you), you can call me CJ.
What’s important to know about me is that I absolutely love to travel and explore new places by curating my version of the perfect itinerary. But for whatever reason, my husband, Riddhish, and I always end up booking our trips just a few weeks before the actual travel dates! We began to joke that we need to keep carry on luggage packed at all times, and be ready to jet at any moment.
Between my meticulous trip planning and Riddhish’s ability to find the best flight and hotel deals last minute, we began to get frequent requests from friends and family to share what we each did best. So I decided to create this space to share our global experiences, provide resources and tips, and simply engage with like-minded individuals!

I am a born & raised New Yorker. (NY suburbs still count, okay?)
I am vegetarian & have never tried meat! Not even for money or for a dare.
I am Indian & love my colorful culture. From the family values to extravagant fashion to Bollywood to the FOOD – I love it all.
I am a dancer & love performing! (Usually Indian fusion dance, but I love me some Zumba as well.)
CJ is my name & Canasta is my game - a card game that I take pride in playing well due to years of training by my dad. (He’s not a big deal, but he’s also won two local competitions so he’s a big deal to me.)
